Five Days…

It’s now just five days until our departure in a new year for a new adventure in our lives. Already I have made new friends in Nigeria through the amazing technology of email and instant messaging, and while it is difficult to leave the friends who have blessed my life for so many years here, I am excited to meet all these people in person in just a few more days!
The Journey

The journey from Northwest Washington to Nigeria began with the opportunity to be part of the Nigeria Mission Team from Camano Chapel in January of 2008. Now it continues with the journey back and the opportunity to serve as Librarian at Hillcrest School in Jos, Nigeria. This blog will most likely provide a “professional” avenue of communication while we are there from January 2009 through June 2011, although I’m sure my personal perspectives will slip into posts here as well.
